Age of frustration
This is not an email, but a titbit for the futurologists: HG Wells, in ‘The Shape of Things to Come” talks about an “Age of Frustration” beginning about the first world war and lasting until about 150 years. That book was published in 1933.
In 1936 Shoghi Effendi referred to “a war whose outbreak signalized the opening of the Age of Frustration destined to precede the establishment of the World Order of Bahá’u'lláh. (The World Order of Baha’u'llah, 171)
So is the frustration destined to end in 2064? Given the limited success of predictions about 1917 and the year 2000, I’m not jumping to any conclusions here.
