Footnotes to 'Defending Shoghi Effendi'

In The Unfolding Destiny of the British Baha’i Community, 76, this reads “the formal and complete separation of Church and State.” But an earlier publication of this letter, in Bahai World vol. 3 1928-1930, page 119, refers to “the formal and complete separation of Church from State.” From an examination of other differences between the two versions (which are all minor), it appears to me that the text in Bahai Administration has been changed by an editor at his own initiative, but it remains possible that Shoghi Effendi has instructed that a mistake in the earlier text (Church from State) should be changed.
